A Letter from Our Pastor
Dear Friend,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
It is no small thing to live as a follower of Christ in these times. We are surrounded by a culture that often calls good evil and evil good, where compromise is applauded and conviction is ridiculed. But the call of Christ has never changed: “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23).
At Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church, we believe this call is not for the faint of heart—but neither are we left to our own strength. God has provided His Word, His Spirit, and His people to equip us to walk faithfully in a world that stands in opposition to His truth.
We are a church rooted deeply in the historic Christian faith and firmly grounded in the Reformed tradition. We hold to the inerrancy and sufficiency of Scripture. We proclaim salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, to the glory of God alone. These truths are not negotiable for us; they are the very foundation upon which we stand.
But we are not only a people of belief; we are a people of action. Inspired by the devotion and courage of the knights of old who took up arms to defend the helpless and uphold justice, we too see ourselves as warriors—not with sword and shield of steel, but with the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. We are called to defend the truth, protect the vulnerable, and live lives of sacrificial service for our King.
This is why Redeemed in Faith exists: to glorify God, to disciple His people, and to proclaim Christ crucified without fear or compromise. We gather to be strengthened by Word and sacrament, equipped for the spiritual battles of everyday life, and sent out to bear witness to Christ in our families, workplaces, and communities.
Perhaps you are weary. Perhaps you have felt alone in your convictions, longing for a fellowship that will encourage you to press on in the faith. Or perhaps you are just beginning to explore who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him. Whatever brings you here, know this: there is hope, there is truth, and there is life found only in Christ.
I invite you to walk this road with us—not an easy road, but a road marked by the joy of knowing Christ and the privilege of serving Him. Here you will find a people who take the faith seriously, who will stand shoulder to shoulder with you in prayer, in study, and in the work of the kingdom.
May we, as the Apostle Paul exhorted, “watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity” (1 Corinthians 16:13–14).
For His Kingdom and by His grace,
Reverend Paul Leming
