About Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church

Rooted in Scripture. Anchored in Christ. Called to Courage.

At Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church, we are a community of believers committed to the unchanging truths of God’s Word and the life-transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is simple yet profound: to glorify God in all things, faithfully proclaim His Word, and disciple His people to live boldly in a world that desperately needs His light.

Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church stands in the Reformed tradition, holding fast to the principles of Sola Scriptura—Scripture alone as our highest authority in faith and practice. As a body of believers, we are devoted to prayer, sound doctrine, and the pursuit of holiness in every sphere of life.

We believe the Christian faith is not merely to be kept within the walls of the church but lived out with integrity, courage, and love in every vocation, family, and community.

Our Identity

We are:

  • Reformed in Theology – Holding to the historic doctrines of grace, the authority of Scripture, and the sovereignty of God.

  • Templar in Spirit – Inspired by the courage and service of Christian knights of old, we are committed to defending truth, protecting the vulnerable, and serving Christ’s kingdom with steadfast devotion.

  • Missional in Focus – Engaging the world with the Gospel and equipping believers to stand firm in the faith.

Our Mission

To see lives transformed by the Gospel as we:

  • Preach Christ crucified and risen.

  • Disciple believers into spiritual maturity.

  • Serve our neighbors in word and deed.

  • Uphold the truth in a world of compromise.

Our Leadership

Reverend Paul Leming serves as the Founder and Senior Pastor of Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church. As an ordained minister, he is committed to shepherding the flock with a balance of grace and truth, rooted in the historic Christian faith.

Our Confession of Faith

Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church wholeheartedly embraces the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments. Our confession of faith reflects the truths handed down through the Reformed tradition and is summarized as follows:

  • Scripture Alone (Sola Scriptura): The Holy Scriptures are the inspired, infallible, and sufficient Word of God, our ultimate authority for faith and life.

  • God’s Sovereignty: God is sovereign over all things, working all things according to the counsel of His will for His glory and the good of His people.

  • The Triune God: We worship one God in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—eternal and equal in power and glory.

  • Christ Alone (Solus Christus): Salvation is found in Christ alone, who by His life, death, and resurrection has secured redemption for all who believe.

  • Grace Alone (Sola Gratia): We are saved by God’s grace alone, not by works, and sustained by that same grace to live for His glory.

  • Faith Alone (Sola Fide): Justification is by faith alone, apart from works, as we are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.

  • To God Alone Be the Glory (Soli Deo Gloria): All of life is to be lived to the glory of God alone.

We also affirm the importance of the historic creeds (Apostles’, Nicene, Athanasian) and the confessions of the Reformed faith as faithful summaries of biblical truth.

Denominational Identity Statement

Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church is a confessional, Christ-centered, and mission-driven body of believers, rooted in the rich theological heritage of the Protestant Reformation and standing firmly upon the Word of God as our sole authority in faith and practice.

We are committed to the doctrines of grace, affirming the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith as our doctrinal standard, and we embrace the historic creeds of the Christian Church (the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds) as faithful summaries of biblical truth.

Our ecclesiology is distinct within the Reformed Baptist tradition. We uphold the local church’s autonomy in practical affairs while fostering a Communion of Churches under a unified doctrinal and missional vision. This Communion is led by a Bishop, serving as a chief ecclesiastical overseer for the purposes of doctrinal fidelity, pastoral accountability, and mission coordination. This episcopal element reflects a desire for stronger unity among congregations without diminishing the historic Baptist principles of regenerate church membership and local church stewardship.

We embrace a governance structure that includes:

  • Bishop: A chief ecclesiastical overseer who provides doctrinal guardianship, pastoral support, and communion-wide unity and authority.

  • Senior Pastor: The spiritual leader and chief executive of each local congregation.
  • Board of Counselors: A communion-wide advisory and accountability body supporting the Bishop in executive, doctrinal, and disciplinary matters.

  • Board of Elders: An advisory group in each congregation aiding the Senior Pastor in shepherding the flock.
  • Church Members: The body of the local congregation, providing approval of local issues, and election of congregational Elders.
  • The formation of Ecclesiastical Orders to promote spiritual discipline, service, and the defense of the faith.

  • A vision for expanding the Communion of Churches while maintaining confessional integrity and biblical simplicity in worship.

Each congregation enjoys practical autonomy in local affairs but remains spiritually connected through shared oversight, mutual support, and accountability. Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ, equipping saints for the work of ministry, and advancing the kingdom of God through faithful preaching, intentional discipleship, and gospel-centered outreach.

While our polity is distinctive—melding Baptist theological convictions with modified episcopal governance—we remain thoroughly Protestant and Reformed in doctrine and practice. Redeemed in Faith Reformed Church exists to be a light in the darkness, uniting believers in grace and truth, and raising up generations who will stand firm in the faith once delivered to the saints.
